A +, Manuela! These are super cool! That hue of red is stunning and the window works beautifully with the multiple exposures. Way to think outside the box on this one!
Thank you, Molly.
I like that you made an ordinary curtain into a symbol of something larger and connected to a story (an entryway, a barrier, a stage curtain?). You are always so good at using words and images very sparingly to create big drama and mystery.
I have been looking at these all afternoon, and evening, and trying to decide which one I like best. I think I like them all, and particularly different parts of each one. The bottom two work best for me because the element of self-portrait is intriguing. And the right hand side of the very bottom one, well, that is just perfect.
Hi... I think Julia is right that the pictures have drama and story in them, and they also remind me very much of a movie I've seen long ago, Three Colours: Red. You may not notice it from the cover, but I remember the movie very much related to that floating, curtanny feeling of your pictures.http://www.freebase.com/view/m/0g2flk5
