My 8 year old son gave me the most meaningful birthday gift. Several prints of photographs that he took himself. My husband asked him a few days before my birthday if he would like to get me a gift.
His answer was:" I want to take pictures for her.."
He decided that he wanted to have mostly black and white pictures because "she loves black and white", but that there should be at least one "green one."
A good photographer friend whom I told about this said:" This is really beautiful because he recognizes something about you that is deeply meaningful to you and is about who you are as person apart from being his mother."
I love them, all of them. They are perfect to me and so, so beautiful.
